Welcome to Kansanshi Foundation Netball!

About the team

Our players are chosen from school teams and from players who grew up playing school netball. The team’s success has even drawn players from other parts of Zambia, who moved to be part of it.

At the Champion of Champions, we finished second in the whole country.


I have been coaching netball since 2002. Over the years, I have coached Solwezi Prison and our provincial under-17 team to national titles, and in 2014 I started the FQM netball team.

Today, our team are the defending champions of the Copperbelt region. We have won the league five seasons in a row, without losing a single league game.

But this team is about more than trophies. Our players come up through school netball, and they bring hard work and teamwork to every game. Three of them have gone on to play for Zambia.

Whether you want to play, support us or just come and watch, you’re always welcome courtside.
